Britney Spears Hostage Drama

Drama unfolded today as an ambulance, police helicopter, several squad cars, and a firetruck were summoned to Britney Spears´ home. It turned out that a hysterical and very drugged Britney had barricaded herself indoors and refused to release the children back into the care of their father. Britney was taken to UCLA Medical center where she is on medical hold, and waiting for a mental evaluation. Spears was wheeled out of her home and into the waiting ambulance, along with one of her boys, although reports suggest that he was not injured.
It looks like this may have been the breaking point for Britney Spears. Whilst much about the incident is still unknown, it is pretty clear that Britney was not only under the influence of some serious drugs, she also experienced some form of mental break. Fortunately all involved are safe and well at this point.
