Angelina In Iraq

Angelina Jolie continued her wildly humanitarian ways by dropping into the war torn country of Iraq. As a UN Goodwill Ambassador, she does things like this all of the time, swinging around third world, bomb scarred nations for a bit of a chat and a cup of tea before buggering off to her mansions again.
Angelina had this to say about her trip: “I have come to Syria and Iraq to help draw attention to this humanitarian crisis and to urge governments to increase their support for UNHCR and its partners.It is absolutely essential that the ongoing debate about Iraq´s future includes plans for addressing the enormous humanitarian consequences these people face.”
I don´t know about you, but there seems to me to be a lot of words there and not a lot of meaning. I think she is basically showing up to say ´look guys, this suxxors´. Which, you know, it kind of does. Thanks for pointing that out to us Angelina.
Maybe she´ll pick up a kid while she´s there. Those Middle Eastern kids are pretty cute when they´re not being bombed to pieces.
