The Simple Life has finally been taken off the air, apparently due to the fact that it turned out life wasn´t so simple after all. Paris and Nicole will no longer be gracing our screens with their irresponsible, mean, and sometimes dangerous hijinks. An era has ended, how sad. Of course, this shouldn´t be a surprise to anyone who has been paying the slightest bit of attention to the news about Nicole. She´s having a baby, so I guess it would be really difficult for her to run around acting like she´s five with a baby strapped to her chest.
Not only that, but Paris had to go get her dumb ass thrown in jail too. A source says that was really what killed the show, due to the fact that the show could no longer beat Paris´ real life exploits. "We felt like the real life drama of their lives overshadowed anything happening on the show. Viewers would see Paris all day long on the news about her going to jail, so they didn´t care about seeing her camping with kids. It just was too played out."
Yeah, because the first seasons were so gritty and raw. Life changing man, fucking life changing viewing. The whole thing has always been an exercise in fake, hell, all of Hollywood is an exercise in fake, so I´m going to pin this one on the baby. Thanks baby!
